Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through https://kalilsrccars.com (“Website”) and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. Legal Right to Cancel (UK & EU Customers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing by email within the 14-day period at: kalilsrccars@outlook.com

You must then return the goods within 14 days of notifying us.

2. Strict Conditions for RC Car Returns

Due to the nature of RC racing cars and related components, returns are accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, unassembled, and unpowered
  • The item has not been driven, tested, raced, or run, even briefly
  • No batteries have been installed or connected
  • Protective films, seals, and packaging are fully intact
  • The item is returned in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and parts included

Any sign of use, assembly, electrical connection, or modification will result in the return being refused.

Inspection goes beyond what is permitted to check basic suitability under consumer law and will reduce the value of the goods.

3. What Counts as “Use” (RC Cars)

For avoidance of doubt, the following are considered use and make an item non-returnable:

  • Installing batteries or electronics
  • Powering on the vehicle or controller
  • Driving the vehicle indoors or outdoors
  • Assembling wheels, suspension, body shells, or electronics
  • Adjusting gearing, alignment, suspension, or ESC settings
  • Removing factory seals or protective materials

4. Non-Returnable Items

The right to cancel does not apply to:

  • RC cars or components that have been used, powered, assembled, or modified
  • Items returned incomplete or damaged
  • Items not returned in original condition and packaging
  • Items damaged due to improper handling after delivery

Returns that fail inspection will be refused and returned to the customer at their expense.

5. Return Shipping (Strict)

  • All return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • We do not provide prepaid return labels
  • Items must be returned using a tracked and insured service
  • You are responsible for the goods until they are received and inspected

We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.


6. Refund Processing

If a return is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the goods
  • Original delivery costs are refunded only where legally required

We reserve the right to reduce the refund if handling has diminished the item’s value.

7. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your RC car is faulty on arrival, damaged in transit, or not as described, contact us immediately at: kalilsrccars@outlook.com

These cases are handled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Normal wear, misuse, incorrect setup, crashes, water damage, or improper battery use are not considered faults.

8. No Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.

If you wish to purchase a different model or product, you must place a new order. Any eligible return will be handled under this policy.

9. Refused or Returned-to-Sender Orders

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • Failure to collect
  • Refusal of delivery
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address

Any refund issued may have delivery and handling costs deducted.

10. Final Decision

All returns are subject to inspection and approval.
Our decision on whether an item meets the return conditions is final.
